Yea on A

Yea on A was a grass roots campaign to pass a ballot measure in 2017 (the measure successfully passed!).  The development time on this site was very short since the campaign began in August for a November election. With a series of rapid iterations as the campaign ramped up, this hurried time frame was not an issue.

Mandala’s website design featured:

  • Mobile and desktop friendly design
  • Easily and quickly generated new content tied to a social media campaign for automatic publishing
  • Search Engine Optimization
  • The site was secured against brute force and other typical forms of hacking

We also created the visual brand for the campaign. As part of this process, we designed mailers, door hangers, lawn signs and various social media collateral.  For the printed pieces, we handled the project from design through printing and delivery.  See examples of the materials Mandala created below.

Printed Materials

A key component of this campaign was walking the neighborhoods to talk to voters. Door hangers were designed and printed so the neighborhood volunteers would have something to leave behind at houses they visited. Working within the constraints of the shape and size, we created these four color pieces printed on heavy card stock with a matte finish.

Campaign Mailer : 6.5 x 11 inch two sided four color campaign mailer which was designed and produced to work perfectly with the US Postal Service’s EDDM (Every Door Direct Mail).

This first mail piece for the campaign was intended to inform the local voters about the issues at stake. The goal was to engage curiosity and drive voters to the web site for more information.

Campaign Mailer : 6.5 x 11 inch two sided four color campaign mailer which was designed and produced to work perfectly with the US Postal Service’s EDDM (Every Door Direct Mail).

This was a second mailer in the campaign and had the sole purpose of getting ‘yes’ voters to the polls. We used images sourced from the concerned local citizens and gathered quotes from people in the community.

18x24 inch four color yard signs printed on weather resistant corrugated material were distributed throughout the voting district.
